2024 HERB KOHL FELLOWSHIP

Congratulations to our esteemed art teacher, Mrs. Sherie Drees. She has be awarded this year’s Herb Kohl Fellowship. She joins five other teachers and staff here at St. Eugene School who have received this prestigious recognition.

ALUMNI RECOGNTION AT MIT

Ethan Zentner, freshman at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and SES class of 2019, won the First Year Student Award in Leadership from MIT for his "outstanding contributions to the Quantum and Precision Measurements Group." Only one or two students are selected for this prestigious award each year.

ALUMNI SPEECH AND DEBATE AWARD

SES class of 2021 and Marquette University High School junior Nick Pienkos placed third in Extemporaneous Speaking at the University of Kentucky's Tournament of Champions, considered the world's most prestigious high school speech and debate competition. Students qualify for the Tournament of Champions (TOC) by performing at a high level at other regional and national tournaments throughout the year. Nick finished third out of 89 competitors.
